250 g butter

175 g white chocolate, roughly chopped

250 ml full fat milk

375 g plain flour

125 g self-raising flour

1 tsp vanilla essence

2 egg

500 g sugar

125 g cream

300 g white chocolate, roughly chopped

RECIPE STEPS

Grease a deep 20cm round cake pan & line base & sides with baking paper

Preheat oven to 160 degrees
  • 250 g butter
  • 300 g white chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 250 ml full fat milk
  • 500 g sugar

Place butter, chocolate, sugar & milk into metal bowl Run CHOCOLATE function

Add flours, eggs & vanilla to chocolate mixture. EXPERT, 30 seconds, no heat. Start on 3, slowly increase speed to 14 till combined. Scrape sides & repeat for 10sec if required

Pour mixture into prepared tin. Place in preheated oven for 1 hour. Cover with foil & bake for a further 45min

Stand cake in tin for 30min before turning onto a wire rack. Once completely cooled spread top & sides with prepared ganache

Place chocolate & cream into metal bowl. Run CHOCOLATE function.

Allow to cool in the refrigerator for approx. 30min or until spreadable
