Put all of the ingredients into the metal bowl and run the program.
- 500 g plain flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 250 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 200 g caster sugar
- 3 tsp of vanilla extract

Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using .

Heat the oven to 180°C.

Once rested, roll out the dough on a floured surface until it is 0.5 cm thick.

With a cookie cutter, cut the shortbread and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.

Your shortbread is cooked when it takes on a nice golden colour.
