120 g round-grain pudding rice

1 vanilla pod

1 organic orange

650 ml milk

50 g sugar

90 g caster sugar

100 ml water

40 g salted butter

4 tbsp of crème fraîche

Tips

Serve warm or cold.

RECIPE STEPS

Split the vanilla pod and remove the seeds. Zest the orange. Place the ingredients in the metal bowl and run the program.

  • 650 ml milk
  • 50 g sugar

If you want the rice pudding to be extra creamy; when the pudding is cooked, run the program.

Pour into ramekins or small glass containers.

Place caster sugar and water in a saucepan over high heat. Bring to the boil. Do not stir and cook until the mixture becomes a golden caramel.
  • 90 g caster sugar
  • 100 ml water

Remove from the heat immediately, add the salted butter and stir until it has fully melted.
  • 40 g salted butter

Put the saucepan over low heat and stir in the crème fraîche.
  • 4 tbsp of crème fraîche

When the salted caramel is smooth and uniform, pour directly over the rice pudding.

Loved this it tasted amazing super customisable and easy only taking a few minutes to put stuff in than I just after 30 minutes had some great rice pudding.
