650 g salmon fillets, skinned

118 ml olive oil

450 g tomato sauce

1 onion, peeled and cut into eighths

3 garilc cloves

2 cm ginger, peeled

1 red chilli, roughly chopped

1 pinch sea salt

1 bunch fresh coriander, roughly chopped

Tips

Serve with rice or crusty baguette.

RECIPE STEPS

Set your Cook Expert on the EXPERT programme 1 minute/ Speed 12/ no heat. Place the onion, garlic, chilli and ginger into the bowl and run the programme. After 30 seconds, pause the programme and scrape down the sides of the bowl. Continue until finished.
  • 1 onion, peeled and cut into eighths

  • 2 cm ginger, peeled
  • 1 red chilli, roughly chopped

Scrape down the sides of the bowl again, add the olive oil and set to EXPERT 5 minutes/ Speed 1A/ 120 degrees C. Cap off.

Meanwhile, lightly oil the steaming basket and place the diced salmon.

Add the passata and salt to the metal bowl and set to EXPERT 14 minutes/ Speed 1A/ 120 degrees C and run with the cap on. After 5 minutes, pause the programme place the steaming basket on top with the salmon pieces on it. After a further 8 mins, pause the programme again and carefully tip in the salmon pieces into the sauce (noting that the salmon pieces will continue to cook in the sauce) and add the coriander. Continue running the programme to the end.
