120 g plain flour

500 g figs

4 bunches redcurrants

1 knob butter

30 g salted butter, melted

400 ml whole milk

4 eggs

100 g caster sugar

100 g golden or brown sugar

Tips

If you don' have fresh figs, you can thaw out frozen figs. This recipe is suitable for gluten-free and lactose-free diets. Replace the wheat flour with rice flour and the milk with almond milk, using the same measurements for each ingredient.

Heat the oven to 180°C.

Quarter the figs.
  • 500 g figs

Melt the butter in a bain-marie.

Place all the ingredients in the metal bowl and run the program.

Scrape the batter into the centre of the bowl and rerun the program.

Butter individual moulds, or a 23cm spring-form tin, and pour the batter into it.

Place the figs on top and gently press into the batter. Bake for 40 minutes.
