Beef Stir Fry




1 onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic
0.5 tsp ginger (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
600 g rump steak, thinly sliced
60 ml soy sauce
1 carrot, cut into sticks
2 tbsp hoyster sauce
2 tbsp of vinegar
1 zucchini, cut into half circles
1 red capsicum, cut into strips
400 g baby corn spears
200 g mushrooms, halved
1 bunch broccoli florets
50 g snow peas or mangetout

OPTIONS: If using chicken, add vegetables at the same time & after the 5 minutes check if chicken is cooked. If required run for 2 more minutes. Use any vegetables you have in the fridge. Use store bought marinade or be creative with what ever is in your pantry.

I used pork fillet and didn’t marinate it and it was still delicious. I threw the marinade in at the start. Its a new favourite.
Love this recipe. Used hoisin sauce instead of oyster sauce and half of the vinegar. Use vegetables I had in fridge and it came out well; still a bit firm, but we like it that way. Might thicken the sauce a tiny bit next time.
Wasn’t bad but lots of juice in the base of the bowl so not really stir fried. It may have been operator error 😂😂 can’t say I’d use this recipe again.
Addes too many vegetables so kept temp at 160. good flavour but served with a dollop of oyster sauce and fresh coriander. Yummy will make again with chicken.
