1 stock cube

200 g of raw asparagus

1 baked potato

1 onion

1 sprig of tarragon

100 g of extra mature cheddar

1 tsp of pepper

25 g parma ham

Peel the asparagus and cut off the ends. Dip them into salted boiling water for a few minutes.

Place half the broth, the asparagus, the potato, the onion, tarragon and the cheddar in the glass jug then start the programme.

  • 100 g of extra mature cheddar

Gradually add the rest of the liquid through the cap.

Over a low heat, gently warm the mixture in a saucepan for 2-3 minutes.

Pour the soup into bowls or deep plates. Add the pepper. Decorate with Parma ham shavings and serve.
