Wash the leek whites thoroughly, leave them whole. Pour 1 L of water into the steamer's reservoir. Spread the leeks in the steam basket, put the lid on, cook for 35 minutes. Drain well.

Arrange in the serving dish, salt, pepper.
Serve hot, drizzled with either a mix of olive oil (2 tbsp) and balsamic vinegar (1 tbsp), or a mix of orange juice (2 tbsp) and hazelnut oil (1/2 tbsp).
