Chilli Chorizo and Prawn Pasta




200 g chorizo sausages, peeled and diced into small pieces
2 cloves garlic
1 med onion, peeled and halved
2 long red chillies, roughly chopped
400 g can crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp of tomato purée
0.5 cup white wine
2 tsp caster sugar
250 ml water
300 g short pasta (penne or fusilli)
200 g of prawns
1 leaf fresh basil
1 tbsp parmesan
Associated products
Serve with basil and freshly grated parmesan.

This fast became a family fav. we use fresh pasta and brown the chorizo first. Canned baby Roma tomatoes are amazing with this.
This was a hit! I added a bit more water to make sure the pasta was covered. Also, browned and crisped the chorizo a bit first and used cooked prawns.
